This job was challenging because we had to carefully remove a recent job done by a competitor. The client, Ms. Worthem, was pretty upset and disappointed because of her recent experience. The stone was not what she had selected and the quality of work was pretty bad. The seams were not level, they were wide, and the overhangs were incorrect in several areas. After her phone calls were ignored by the original fabricator she hired and had already paid, she was frustrated and feeling defeated. Ms. Worthem decided to contact the supplier where she had selected her stone. That supplier immediately called us. The supplier knew we would take care of Ms. Worthem, her family and their home. We contacted Ms. Worthem, listened to her situation and decided we would redo her job at no cost. We didn't want her to pay twice for her job--it simply didn't seem right. It felt good to hear the client’s happiness and appreciation, that was payment enough.
We personally wish to thank Henry Berroa and Trademark for giving us the opportunity to come to know their company. The showroom staff and installation crew were totally professional, and the workmanship was top quality. We will continue to recommend Trademark Universal Stone to everyone we know.
Our situation was a bit unusual in comparison to Trademark’s regular clients.
We had an extremely bad experience with another company. After a year of phone calls and no resolution, we contacted the quartz manufacturer, who in turn put us in contact with Henry and the Trademark Universal Stone Company in Louisville, Kentucky.
Henry and Trademark couldn’t have been more compassionate and professional to our situation.
Trademark personally led us through the entire process of making our kitchen beautiful again.
From a digital measure to material and color choice, design, fabrication, and final installation, we were totally involved in the entire process. His crew came in, carefully removed the poorly installed quartz, set the new stone, meticulously cleaned up, and left us with our exquisite new countertops and a workable kitchen once again. (It was especially nice when the neighbors came over and saw the difference a professionally installed countertop made. All they could say was “WOW!”)
Our kitchen countertop project was a 50th anniversary gift that had turned into a nightmare until Henry and everyone at Trademark stepped in and turned it into the dream center of our home.
