The Trademark Story
Our story doesn’t start in a boardroom. It starts in a basement.
In 2009 — during one of the worst economic crashes in decades — a soldier and a veteran, partners in life and purpose, bet everything on a belief: “do right by people, and everything else will follow.” Add a best friend to the mix, and you had a three-person crew with no safety net, no connections — and absolutely no intention of losing.
We started small. Like cardboard-template-and-a-water-hose small. We had $1,500 from Mom for a forklift deposit, a Home Depot card with a $6,000 limit, and a dream powered by hustle, grit, and faith. From a ranch house in Vine Grove, KY to a cinder block shop by the train tracks in La Grange, we did what we had to do: fix the plumbing by sunrise, cut countertops by sunset.

People told us we wouldn’t make it. We didn’t argue. We just outthought and outworked them.
We didn’t know it then, but being broke was our superpower. No investors. No shortcuts. No “connections.”
We had to earn it all — client by client, slab by slab. And in that process, we discovered our edge: we weren’t held back by what we didn’t have. We were driven by what we refused to accept — average service, broken promises, or doing business like everyone else.
So we redefined the game. We became the first fabricators in our market to:
- Partner directly with builders, contractors, and remodelers, bypassing outdated gatekeepers.
- Join clients at supply houses, guiding selections in person.
- Invest in advanced robotics and CNC systems before anyone else saw the value.
- Launch our own supply house (Lithology) and plumbing company (Jenkins) to simplify the process for our clients.

While others stayed dusty in warehouses, we built a showroom experience. While competitors played catch-up, we raised the bar again — and again. We don’t compete. We evolve.
We’re not watching the competition. We’re watching ourselves, analyzing, refining, leveling up. To chase someone else is to admit they’re ahead. And let’s be clear: no one’s ahead of us.

We’re proud to have disrupted an old-school industry with innovation, creativity, and culture. Not rented talent. Not outside investors. Just us — the original three, still here, still building, still giving everything to the people who helped us grow: our team and our clients.
By 2012, we became the largest countertop company in Kentucky. That wasn’t luck. That was word of mouth — the kind you only earn by showing up, delivering more than promised, and treating every job like it’s the most important one you’ve ever done. We grew fast, and when it got too big to handle alone, we brought in family — literally. Our GM today is the best friend who left New York to help us scale the dream. We’ve come a long way from circular saws and cold hoses.
Today, we’re proud to be the premier name in stone fabrication, known for:
- Unmatched craftsmanship
- A culture of relentless improvement
- A team that feels like family because it is
- A reputation built the right way — one slab, one promise, one wowed client at a time

We’re not just fabricating stone. We’re building legacies.
The spaces we create become the heart of homes, the foundation of businesses, and the backdrop of memories. We’re honored to do what we do, and we’ll never take a single client, team member, or opportunity for granted.
This is Trademark. Built by hand. Backed by heart. And always setting the standard.
